What is a film opening? The film opening is the first section of a film that you see, in this section you meet the main characters, the set for the film is shown and you tend to know roughly what sort of genre the film is going to be. We know this because Shortly into the film we see spiderman swinging from buildings in New York. We also find out who Spidermans enemy in the film is going to be, this being Harry. We know he is going to be Spidermans enemy as when they come out of the theatre they have a brief argument. Harry is also in love with Peters girlfriend, we know this from the fact Harry buys her a massive bunch of flowers. In conlcusion a film opening is something which just sets the scene for the rest of the film. It tells us who the main characters are,what they do and what genre the film is going to be.
